How much does Spec Fitness cost?

$25 a month with a 7 day free trial. One price, everything in the membership: programs, the meal planner, logging, and the web portal.

How do I cancel my subscription?

In your store settings: App Store subscriptions on iPhone, Google Play subscriptions on Android. Cancellation takes effect at the end of your current billing period.

Is there a web version?

Yes. Your account works in the mobile app and at app.milspecwellness.com. Most members build meal plans and tune programs on the web and log workouts from the phone.

Does it work on Android?

Yes. Spec Fitness is on the App Store and Google Play with the same membership and the same features.

Training

Who writes the programs?

Working trainers write every program in the library, with a purpose behind every number. Nothing in the catalog is generated by an algorithm.

Can I change a program to fit my week?

Yes. Swap exercises, adjust sets and reps on your copy, move training days, or swap a single day for a different session. The trainer's base program stays intact underneath, so you can always reset to it.

What if no program fits my exact filters?

The library always offers close matches and tells you exactly why each one is close: a different session length, level, or equipment it can relax to. Your days per week and goal are never bent.

Nutrition

How does the meal planner work?

It calculates your daily calorie and macro targets from your bodyweight and goal, then builds a week of meals whose portions are solved to hit those numbers. Swap any meal; the day rebalances.

Does it handle diets and allergies?

Yes. Filter by diet (gluten free, dairy free, vegetarian, vegan, paleo, pescetarian and more) and exclude allergens. The planner refuses to deliver a plan that contains anything on your allergy list.

Coaching

What does 1-on-1 coaching include?

A real trainer reviewing your training and nutrition with a direct message line inside the app, at $149 or $249 a month depending on tier. App members get $25 a month credited toward either tier.

Is the HQ chat a bot?

No. Messages to Spec Fitness HQ are read and answered by a person. Most get a reply the same day; anything sent overnight gets answered in the morning.

Who is behind Spec Fitness?

MilSpec Wellness (MilSpec Wellness LLC), a veteran owned and operated fitness and nutrition coaching company in Broken Arrow, Oklahoma, founded by a disabled Army veteran. Spec Fitness is its workout and meal planning app.

Is MilSpec WELL the same as MilSpec Wellness?

Yes. MilSpec WELL (sometimes written MilSpecWL) is a short form of MilSpec Wellness, the company behind Spec Fitness. Start at app.milspecwellness.com/start to get matched to a program.

Who owns my data?

You do. Your log, your plans, and your history belong to you, and deleting your account removes them. The privacy policy spells out exactly what is collected and why.
